Sailing behind Grenada the wind was light. Between the islands we saw confused seas and quite a bit of wind. It was a squally day and we got rain a few times - notice Zach is hiding inside while I'm out sailing in the rain! (OK it was my watch - he got lucky) Hooch and Zach stayed dry and warm.
We left St George at 7am and put the anchor down in Tyrell Bay at 3:30, with the last half hour motoring around the bay looking for a sandy spot to put down the anchor. We found one, thank goodness because it got nasty that night and the next morning was still raining and squally. The wind gusts were incredible and lasted a long time.

After the rain stopped we went for a hike to try to get to the top of one of the mountains. It took us about an hour to get almost to the top, Hooch and I were exhausted!
But we did find a good view of the anchorage, the picture isn't the best because it was a gray and gloomy day.
After our hike we went into town, which is small and mostly shut down for the day, but we found customs and ran into some friends.
